You can change or cancel your issued orders as follows:

• Up to 2 days prior to expiry
• Access is possible via the login for swisspost.ch, or in the case of one-off orders, without a login using the direct link in the confirmation e-mail.

Alternatively, you can modify or cancel your order by telephone up to two days prior to its expiry: +41 848 888 888 (CHF 0.08/min. from landline phones within Switzerland).

Daily newspapers are often delivered by private delivery businesses. In this case, the newspaper will be delivered despite the order. Inform your daily newspaper of the forwarding order. If the newspaper is delivered by Swiss Post, this will of course be forwarded.

Yes, temporary parcel redirection is subject to a fee. You can choose between two different pricing models.

One option is to select a flat fee of CHF 15.00 for two weeks of parcel redirection. Every additional parcel costs an additional CHF 4.00. Or alternatively you can pay CHF 8.00 per parcel. This option is particularly suited to small parcel volumes.

For security reasons, we are not allowed to take orders over the phone or by e-mail. We recommend that you order a mail redirection for deceased persons at one of our branches.

Please present the following documents at the counter:

• An inheritance certificate/heir’s certificate or a family record book / a family certificate / a certificate of registered partnership or a notarized authorization (if no heir’s certificate available)
• A death certificate

An order costs CHF 57.00 and lasts for 12 months.

Until you have all the documents ready or until it has been clarified who will take care of written matters in the future, we will be happy to set up a “Retain mail” order to ensure the mail is not returned to the sender. Please bring the death certificate with you to the counter so that we can set up the order. The costs vary depending on the duration of the order.
