COD letters

Equivalent to cash

When you send an item COD, you receive your money simply and securely.

Any addressed letter up to a collection amount of CHF 10,000 can be sent COD. Your parcel is only handed over to the recipient against payment. You can have the money credited to your postal account.

Your payment: you can either have the amount credited to your postal account or paid out in cash at the post office counter.

Prices and terms

• The surcharge for a COD consignment is CHF 15.
• Carriage (A Mail, B Mail, Registered) is not included. COD is available for all addressed items.
• Our postal carriers can collect a maximum amount of CHF 10,000 for you.
• Unregistered COD items are not insured. If you would like to insure your COD consignment, send it as Registered with COD. Maximum liability in the event of damage, loss or improper delivery is CHF 500.
