Changing customer needs

Customer habits are constantly changing: fewer and fewer letters, parcels and payments are coming in over the traditional post office counter. This is primarily due to new technology such as e-mail, text messaging and the Internet, as well as increased competition resulting from the deregulation of the postal market. Swiss Post is developing new solutions, such as village shop post offices and e-services.

PostBus keeps Switzerland moving

Postbuses make outlying villages and hamlets accessible, significantly increasing the mobility of their inhabitants. Swiss Post also offers a flexible mobility solution in 30 rural regions with the Publicar dial-a-ride service. Passengers need only make a free phone call to order their personal Postbus.
