Alternative drive systems
Drive systems for a sustainable environmentPostLogistics wants to lower fuel consumption by using alternative drive systems. The PostLogistics vehicle park already includes 140 gas-powered delivery vans. Work will begin on other projects using alternative drive systems in the coming months.
PostLogistics and its subsidiary Mobility Solutions are closely monitoring developments in motor technology for heavy vehicles. We plan to use at least 15 delivery vans or trucks with electric or hybrid engines as pilot vehicles by the end of 2012.
