Warehouse logistics

The PostLogistics warehouses meet all requirements for the proper storage and handling of medical and pharmaceutical products. Construction-related and organizational measures guarantee the necessary high level of security. Our employees are trained to deal with sterile, pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Compliance with the Swiss Medical Devices Ordinance is ensured. The warehouse is also certified to Swissmedic GDP (Goods Distribution Practice) standards.

Cross-docking

We operate a central external warehouse for several hospitals. Suppliers no longer deliver to hospital loading bays individually but instead take the goods directly to the central platform where they are tested and stored using our automation equipment. Orders for individual hospitals are picked on a ward-by-ward basis, while articles from a number of different suppliers are bundled and delivered to the agreed location.
