Conditions for OnTime Mail

Things to note

Certain conditions must be met to ensure that your dispatch orders with OnTime Mail can be processed correctly. The most important requirements at a glance:

Mailing

OnTime Mail items may only be handed in in letter receptacles, in outer containers or on pallets. The way in which the containers are filled also determines whether or not your items can be processed as OnTime Mail:

Letter receptacles must be delivered stacked in outer containers or on pallets. Sorted bundles, outer containers and pallets must be correctly labelled as OnTime Mail. Letter receptacles do not require labelling.

For unsorted, unbundled deliveries in letter receptacles, mail to domicile addresses must be separated from mail to P.O. box addresses. If the mail is not separated, the mail to P.O. box addresses will be delivered one day before your chosen delivery date.

Mailing

Items must be handed in at a specified letter or logistics centre four working days before your requested delivery date (Monday to Friday, before 5 p.m.). Prior notification must be given at least three working days before delivery (regardless of the volume).
