Local Response

Local Response is a pre-franked reply item that is returned to a P.O. box in the country to which you sent your mailings. Local Response reply items are forwarded as PRIORITY items to your business address.

Formats and weights

The layout and the minimum and maximum dimensions plus the maximum weight per item correspond to the conditions for the respective destination country. For information on layout conditions for a specific country or on how to apply for a P.O. box number please contact your customer consultant.

Prices

There is no charge for setting up a P.O. box. For each returned Local Response item you pay the postage for a PRIORITY letter mailed abroad (either “Europe” or “Other countries” depending on the sender’s country). There is also a processing fee of 20 centimes per item. Of course, only items that are actually returned will be billed. ECONOMY post is not possible.

Example for an item weighing 10g with a format of up to B5:

• Europe: CHF 1.40 + CHF 0.20 = CHF 1.60
• Other countries: CHF 1.90 + CHF 0.20 = CHF 2.10
