Conditions for personal delivery (RMP)Things to note
Certain conditions must be met to ensure that your letters with proof of delivery provided through personal delivery (RMP) can be processed correctly. The most important requirements at a glance:
The personal delivery (RMP) additional service can only be used in combination with the registered mail (R), court document (GU) and debt collection document (BU) services. Delivery is only possible to natural individuals of sound mind.
Under personal delivery (RMP), the first name of the recipient must be written out. The recipient must be a natural person.
Addressing to business addresses
It is not possible to specify the business address of a natural person. In this case Swiss Post cannot guarantee that the item will be personally delivered to the designated addressee. If necessary, it will deliver the item to an authorized person.
Affix the "personal delivery" additional barcode next to the address.
In some countries the personal delivery (RMP) additional service is only possible in combination with return receipt (AR).
Items to be sent abroad must be marked "Personal delivery" / "A remettre en main propre" above the address.
