Pro Juventute helps children and young people together with their parents develop into self-confident, socially responsible people. The Foundation provides direct and effective support for a wide range of schemes. Over 300,000 children and young people in Switzerland benefit from them each year. The most important schemes include:

  • Pro Juventute Advice & Help 147 advises those who need help, every day, around the clock – anonymously and free of charge by telephone, text message, online chat or via the Internet.
  • Pro Juventute letters to parents supports parents with the everyday tasks of bringing up a baby.
  • Pro Juventute holiday pass offers provide worthwhile leisure activities during school holidays.
  • Pro Juventute associations conduct a number of locally based projects for children and young people throughout Switzerland.

The Foundation is also committed to a Switzerland-wide policy for children and young people in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Foundation has been awarded a seal of quality by Zewo, the official body that registers charities, and guarantees that donations are handled for the stated, non-profit purpose.

By offering an option for ordering via WebStamp, Pro Juventute and Swiss Post are reacting to the signs of the times and appealing to a new, Internet-friendly audience. This additional offering is an integral component of the new Pro Juventute online shop, which will be used increasingly as a sales channel in future. In addition to stamps, it includes other products with the Pro Juventute label and serves to finance the activities of the Foundation for children and young people. Pro Juventute also relies on Swiss Post for operating its online shop. The Foundation tasks it with handling its orders, customer management, logistics and payments for its online shop.
