Conditions
Things to noteTo use PP franking, certain conditions must be met. The most important requirements at a glance:
Designing the PP impression
PP impressions comprise a PP postmark, the postcode and the locality of the sender address. They can be designed individually. Creating a PP impression is quick and easy with the online tool "PP Generator". For detailed information on designing a PP impression, see the "Franking" brochure.
Labelling
PP impressions are either printed directly on the envelopes or affixed as adhesive labels. If an envelope with a window is used, the PP impression can be printed in the address field of the letter.
Mailing
- Postage paid items must be handed in with a dispatch list. Swiss Post provides the electronic application "Dispatch list Online" to create the document.
- Items must be handed in at an acceptance point.
Minimum quantity
- 50 or more items from the same price category (e.g. 55 A Mail standard letters) mailed at the same time
- Please note:
If the minimum quantity is not met, Swiss Post will charge the lowest rate for B Mail individual items for the number of missing items up to the volume of 50 items.

- Please note: Postage paid items may not be posted in postboxes.
